Phil is director of Reddington,
and a Chartered Financial Planner.

He works closely with clients to take the stress and ambiguity out of planning for the life they want to live. His passion is all about helping people feel in control of their future. He works closely with business owners to help them grow to their full potential. Once he understands what really matters to them, they can gain clarity on what they really need and how to get there.

Outside of his time with Reddington, Phil loves spending as much time as possible with his gorgeous family…as well as their ‘energetic’ spaniel, Muck!

Phil did used to have hobbies. However, watching Frozen, Moana or Toy Story on repeat with his children is just as rewarding! The Hendry family love to explore all that Scotland has to offer, and regularly venture to the endless treasures the Highlands and Scottish Islands boast. Phil firmly believes balancing the different parts of your life is key, and stresses this to clients. Not only does he try to walk the walk but also before talking the talk!

Kathryn is our Paraplanner at Reddington; she has an extensive knowledge of financial services.

In addition, she provides support to the team and our clients by compiling research, writing suitability reports, compliance checking and answering technical queries.
Her proactive approach means Kathryn is able to free up as much of the team’s time so that they can concentrate on what they do best; which is working with our clients to provide a bespoke financial service.

Through continued professional development she maintains a detailed, up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of financial planning and keeps abreast of the constant changes in taxation and legislation to ensure a smooth financial process for clients.

Outside of work, Kathryn spends time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, musical theatre and going for long walks with Gemma, her dog. Her and her family enjoy travelling all over the world and she recently completed a 100km trek in the Himalayas for a Breast Cancer Charity. Above all, Kathryn firmly believes in living her best life and endeavours to achieve this at work and home.

Dean has been working as a paraplanner since 2022, when he began his career as a trainee. Since joining Reddington he has gained valuable experience in providing support to the financial adviser by preparing detailed reports, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. His role has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of financial planning and the importance of client needs. Dean is currently pursuing his Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) exams to expand his knowledge in the field and relay his skills back to the clients to ensure he provides exceptional service.

Outside of work, Dean enjoys spending his time playing video games, a hobby that allows him to unwind and immerse into different worlds. He also loves to spend time with his two cats, Charlie and Juno, who bring joy and relaxation to his life. Balancing his professional aspirations with his personal interests helps him maintain a fulfilling and well-rounded lifestyle.

Laura joined Reddington during a practice merger in 2022. Having worked at St. James’s Place since 2007 she brings with her a wealth of experience in client services and has an in-depth knowledge of how the systems and processes work.

Laura provides essential administrative support to our financial planners and the team within the office. She loves being a point of contact for all clients and prides herself on providing excellent client service. Her role largely involves managing the day-to-day client servicing tasks and business processing while keeping things running smoothly as much as possible.

Outside of work, Laura is happiest spending quality time with her family (including two bulldogs, Hugo and Lola). She spends most of her free time acting as a taxi driver and cheering on her son Leon at football matches. Laura enjoys nothing better than a relaxing spa day to unwind after a busy working week. She loves going on holidays, reading books and eating out. Her one guilty pleasure is reality TV (!)

Susan Ferguson is a Senior Client Support Specialist at Reddington

Susan supports our financial planners, ensuring they have everything they need on a day to day basis and assisting clients whenever she can.  She is a people person with a thorough approach, ensuring no stone is left unturned!

Susan has worked in the finance industry for the majority of her working life and loves the variety of challenges.

Outside of work, Susan likes catching up with friends and spending family time with her husband and children.
They love going for long walks (stopping off for a bite to eat of course!) ten-pin bowling and swimming.

Susan loves traveling to new places. Her days as an international jet-setter have included such locales as South America, Australia and South Africa before family life took over!

Fascinated by the origins of economics as a social science, he believes that by truly getting to know someone, he can help them create, calibrate, and monitor optimal financial planning strategies to meet their personal objectives.

Once someone becomes a client, it’s Ross’s job to make them feel part of a team—believing his role is to continually ask the right questions to uncover and prioritise their specific needs.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with friends, family, and his partner, Ana. Her Spanish heritage and passion for all things food mean that Ross often finds himself in “strange places, eating tiny portions of food he didn’t ask for and doesn’t understand.” A fulfilling, yet confusing, life for Ross.

With 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, Paul is passionate about helping clients achieve financial security and peace of mind.  His approach is centered around understanding what truly matters to each individual, allowing him to craft personalised plans that alleviate financial worries to set the stage for a secure future.  Whether working with families or business owners, he takes pride in guiding clients toward their goals with clarity and confidence.

When Paul isn’t at work, he’s busy moonlighting as the family chauffeur, shuttling his kids to their various clubs—practically running his own taxi service! He loves spending time on the golf course, both for his own game and helping his kids perfect their swings. Paul and his family also love to go on holidays to Greece, where they can relax and enjoy some quality time together.  Balancing work, family, and play is a big part of his life and it’s a philosophy he brings into his approach with clients too.

Lorna has been with Reddington since the start and is our Practice Manager.

Lorna ensures the smooth running of Reddington. Being organised is just a way of life for her both at home and work – much to her partner’s dismay at times!  She firmly believes clients are people not numbers and looks forward to building relationships with new clients and continuing her relationship with existing clients.  She is always at hand to help clients with any queries they may have.

Outside of work Lorna is an avid music fan, gardener and animal lover. She is at her happiest either pottering in her garden, front row of a gig (that is where all the action happens) or chilling with her tabby cat.  For a change of scenery her ideal holiday destination would be somewhere with plenty of art galleries/museums and interesting place to explore.

Khadija currently works as a Client Experience Executive at Reddington, a role she has embraced since 2023.

Her responsibilities include managing client calls to coordinating the advisers’ diaries, ensuring that every interaction is smooth and professional. She thrives in environments where she can apply her strong communication skills and attention to detail to enhance client satisfaction.

Outside of work, she is the happiest when spending time with her family, friends, and most importantly, Hashim, her cat. As a keen foodie, she loves exploring new dining spots and discovering unique flavours. She also enjoys the occasional competitive bowling match!
